The department of journalism and mass communication, faculty of social And management sciences of the University of Buea has made preparation on how to celebrate the 2022 Edition of the world press freedom day on Tuesday 3rd may 2022.
In this year’s Edition, it will be celebrated under the theme Journalism under Surveillance.
This event has been parted into three sections, This is to enable the department to celebrate it in a memorable way.
This event will began at 8am at the Dorothy Limunga Amphitheatre at the University Campus. This program will welcome two Guest speakers Mr. Eno Chris Oben and Mr. Arison Tanfu.
And at 11am- 12noon there’s shall be award presentation to all the best students in the department for the enormous hard work towards their Education. There after there will football match between JMC and CAMASEJ Buea
With this closing of the event of the day there will be Gala night at las Vegas. Molyko Buea at 8pm for the students and staff to have a time of their lives.
